You know, no matter what you’re reading, or what videos you’re watching, social media, the TV or binging on Netflix. What goes in, affects you and affects your output.

Good morning, just a short blast from Coach Dave this morning. And I was struck by how the quality of our inputs affects the quality of our outlook and our output. That quality is so important. So, it’s important that we stand guard at the gateway to our mind, our bodies, and our spirit. And you know, no matter what you’re reading, what videos you’re watching, social media, the TV or binging on Netflix. What goes in, affects you and affects your output. And, I was reminded about that tale of two wolves and I have about 20% Native American in me. So, I love the wisdom of our forefathers in this country and my family from Mexico.

There was an old Cherokee that told his grandson. My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside of us. One is evil, anger, jealous, greedy, and it is full of resentment and lies. The other one, it is good. It is joy and peace, loving, hoping, and full of humility and kindness. And the boy thought about it. Then, he asked his grandfather, oh grandfather, which wolf wins the battle? And then, the old man just quietly reply, the one that you feed. Feed your input full quality. That’s it, that’s a short blast from Dave. Coach Dave Razo, thanks.

Guarding our Inputs

It’s crucial that we become aware of the quality of information we expose ourselves to. Just like a gatekeeper, we need to stand guard at the gateway to our minds, bodies, and spirits. What we consume shapes our thoughts, emotions, and actions.

Two Wolves Inside Us

There’s an old Cherokee tale that beautifully illustrates this concept. A wise Cherokee once told his grandson about a battle that rages within each of us. He said, “My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside of us. One is evil – filled with anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, and lies. The other is good – filled with joy, peace, love, hope, humility, and kindness.”

So, let’s be mindful of the content we consume. Let’s choose to feed the wolf that brings out the best in us – the one filled with joy, peace, love, hope, humility, and kindness. By doing so, we can cultivate a positive outlook and enhance our productivity in all aspects of life.

Thank you for reading this short blast from Dave. Remember, I’m here to support you on your journey towards a better life. Coach Dave Razo.

Which Wolf Wins

Which Wolf Wins?

Naturally, the grandson was curious and asked his grandfather, “Which wolf wins the battle?” The old man replied, without hesitation, “The one that you feed.”

Choosing Quality Input

This simple yet profound tale highlights the importance of feeding our minds, bodies, and spirits with quality input. If we want to cultivate positive emotions, thoughts, and actions, we must prioritize consuming content that aligns with these values.

Effects on Outlook and Output

What we consume doesn’t just stay within us; it also affects how we interact with the world and the outcomes we achieve. When our inputs are filled with negativity, anger, and falsehoods, it’s no wonder that our outlook becomes pessimistic and our output suffers.

On the other hand, when we choose to fill ourselves with positivity, peace, love, and truth, our outlook becomes brighter, and our output becomes more aligned with our values. We become more compassionate, hopeful, and driven to make a positive difference.
